Company: Bippit * Role: Product designer * Product: Web app & design system

Bippit is a b2b2c saas company; their product offering caters to companies in the form of employers’ benefits with a focus on financial coaching.

When I joined the company, the first task we set for ourselves was to organise the almost inexistent product documentation. Beginning with the creation of its first design system, which consisted of investigating the product’s patterns, to put order into it. We created a product library that improved both the accessibility and consistency of our UX and UI.

For my work, I was tasked with a UX audit to document the entire journey of our product and create Bippit's first design blueprint. Before me, the company didn’t have a map detailing the various phases of the user journey, which would help multiple departments gain a better grasp of our offerings.

Apart from applying all the improvements that came with having a new and seamless design system, I started work on revamping the UI of our product: I redesigned the entire onboarding journey, focusing on form design and security, reducing the amount of drop-offs we registered.

But our best efforts came with the redesign of the main interface and screens, with a focus on decluttering the unnecessary, improving accessibility and applying UX best practices. Because of this, I created a UI based on the existing branding that was more contemporary and easier to navigate (as you can see in the before/ after screens below).

Some ideas shaping the present

It has now become a habit of mine to expand my work beyond the scope of my role in every company I work for. Happily so.

Together with Bippit’s digital designer, we sketched an idea for a rebranding. The 2 of us set time aside every week to craft a new brand identity that would positively impact marketing and product to begin with.

A rebranding that has now matured and come to life, positioning the company firmly in the Fintech space as an entity eager to be recognised.
